Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory is a 1971 film adaptation of Roald Dahl's 1964 novel, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Charlie being one of five children who finds a Golden Ticket and wins a visit to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. The film starred Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka and Peter Ostrum, in his only film appearance, as Charlie.
