The Walking Dead is an American TV show set in a post-apocalyptic world dominated by flesh-eating zombies. The show premiered in October 2010, and the first six seasons were made up of 83 episodes. The seventh season, which began airing in October 2016, will feature 16 episodes. An eighth season has already been confirmed, and will premiere in late 2017 ~ it will open with the show's 100th episode.
