Primeval is a British sci-fi TV show that follows a team of scientists tasked with investigating the appearance of temporal 'anomalies' , through which prehistoric and future species  enter the present day.

The show premiered on 10th February 2007 and ran for five seasons, with the 36th and final episode screened on 28th June 2011. A feature film version, announced in May 2009, has never appeared.

A British-Canadian spin-off 'Primeval: New World' premiered in October 2012, but was cancelled after just one season (and doesn't form part of my collection).
